"I love this place! The staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to do things last minute for me. I'll always be using them. The DOT inspection is super cheap on commercial vehicles too!"

"My husband,daughter,and I are from Utah and we where on an epic road trip to Ohio when we got stuck in Des Moines because our transfer case completely went out on us. We called they not only got us in right away but Steven and Ruth where two of the nicest people we have ever met! They got us in at 8 am and by 1 PM we where on our way!!!! We highly recommend Merrill Axle and Wheel Service Inc. Thank you guys again for the amazing work on our truck and for being professional and personable!! You guys rock!!!!"

"Recently, my mother had to have a surgery in Des Moines, and we are from Fort Dodge (about 1 ½ hour drive). On our way to DSM we experienced some car troubles. After almost not making it to the hospital, we decided we’d better have it looked at. My Dad dropped us off, and set out to find a mechanic. Not knowing the area, and having to try and find a solution prior to 2 p.m. was going to be impossible, that is until he found Merill Axle and Wheel Services. Located in the heart of downtown DSM we figured there would be no way to have the work we needed complete by the time she was done. The surgery was one where the patient needed to get home right away, so I started making arrangements for someone to drive from Fort Dodge to get us and looking into car rentals. Needless to say, we were preparing for the worst and were trying to get ahead of it._Merill Axle "
